Environmental Services Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking experienced Environmental Services Team Leader to join our team on a full time basis.

The role of an Environmental Services Team Leader is vital in ensuring

• that hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hospital is maintained at the highest standards for all stakeholders

• maintenance efficient linen services

• that staff attend mandatory training

Skills and experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in provision environmental services

• Demonstrated Team leadership

• Ability to cover where needed, environmental duties on site

• Strong customer service focus and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

• Excellent time management skills to function effectively in a busy hospital environment.

• Proficient computer skills Excel and Word

Desired qualifications

• Frontline management experience

• Knowledge of OHS practices and principles

You must be available to work morning, day and evening shifts over seven days per week and on some occasions night shift as required for annual leave cover. 

The successful applicant will be required to provide evidence of a current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
