About the role
The Emergency Relief & Administration Officer ensures the consistent smooth administration and promotion of the Emergency Relief program.
MASP is a not-for-profit organisation located in Mildura, Victoria and is seeking to fill a full-time ongoing position.
The Emergency Relief & Administration Officer (ERAO) delivers high-quality general administration support and contributes to the smooth and professional operation of MASP. The role is based in Mildura and supports the delivery of Emergency Relief across MASP’s broader support region. The primary focus is to ensure the consistent smooth administration and promotion of the Emergency Relief program, including application assessment, data management, coordination with internal teams and external partners, and timely support for individuals and families in financial crisis using trauma-informed principles.
The ERAO is required to travel within MASP’s support region to build relationships, promote program access, attend stakeholder meetings and support effective service delivery. Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required to meet operational and program needs.
Multitasking, attention to detail, professionalism, strong communication skills and high-level computer skills are essential. The ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and maintain effective communication while travelling regionally is also required.
Expected commencing salary of $82,415.00 per annum plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.

This role can involve emotionally demanding situations and exposure to psychological hazards, including client distress, trauma disclosures, and urgent responses. MASP prioritises staff wellbeing by providing supervision, debriefing, reflective practice, safety measures, and access to wellbeing resources. We encourage open communication—raise any concerns with your supervisor, management, or the OHS Committee as soon as possible.
