Accounting Internship

About the role

This is an accounting internship opportunity for fresh graduates or those newly migrated to Australia seeking local work experience. You will work with CPA Accountants & Certified Trainers who will mentor you, providing practical experience with real client data across various accounting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Work with Payroll Systems (XERO & MYOB)

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Perform Bank Reconciliation

• Prepare Financial Reports

• Calculate and prepare BAS/GST Reports

• Perform Bookkeeping using MYOB & XERO

• Prepare Simple to complex Tax Returns for Individual, Rental property, CGT & Business clients

• Receive software training in XERO, MYOB, and Handi Tax

• Apply software knowledge to real work on individual and business client accounts

About you

• Fresh accounting graduate or completing your degree from Uni or TAFE

• Newly migrated to Australia as an accountant

• No local work experience in accounting required

• International student visa holders are eligible to apply
