Refrigeration Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute your workload to meet client requirements and deadlines.

• Deliver high-quality service, maintenance and repair work.

• Perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment.

• Carry out scheduled corrective and emergency reactive works as required.

• Investigate and troubleshoot various plant requiring rectification works.

• Co-ordinate and lead small-scale projects and upgrade works.

• Maintain accurate service records, reports and compliance documentation.

• Follow safety procedures and applicable industry standards.

• Assist in the provision of on-the-job training for apprentices.

• Work with the team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and pride in neat, compliant workmanship.

• Problem-solving mindset.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Confident using digital job management systems, reporting platforms and compliance documentation.

• Construction Industry White Card.

• Current CPR/LVR competencies.

• C-Class Drivers' licence.

• Refrigerant Handling License.

• QBCC Occupational Licence.

• Restricted Electrical work licence.

Highly Regarded Experience:

• 3+ years hands-on post-trade experience.

• Experience in chilled water systems and central plant.

• Chiller and cooling tower maintenance and fault finding

• BMS, controls and electrical fault finding

• Commissioning and system performance testing
