Medical Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking experienced and dedicated GP Medical Receptionists to join our team at Brookside Family Clinic in Mitchelton, Queensland. This role will involve providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our Medical Practice.

Part time, school hours or casual, let's have the conversation. We are open to working with your schedule as much as possible.

What you'll be doing

• Scheduling appointments and providing information about our services

• Handling patient enquiries in a professional and empathetic manner

• Ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times

• Manage incoming calls and correspondence

• Completing reception team daily tasks

• Providing professional support to the clinic Doctors

• Completing ad hoc tasks as delegated by the Practice Manager

• Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical databases

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing supplies

• Providing a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a GP medical receptionist or in a customer-facing role in the healthcare industry

• Minimum of 1 years experience as a GP medical receptionist

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Proficient in using Best Practice , Hotdoc & Tyro

• A caring and compassionate attitude, with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of our patients

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

• Australian Work Rights are required for this position
