About the Opportunity

Join Central Coast Local Health District as an Allied Health Educator and play a key role in building the capability, confidence and professional development of Allied Health staff across the District. You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop contemporary, evidence-based education initiatives that support workforce development and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

In this role you will:

• Design, develop, deliver and evaluate education programs, competency frameworks and professional development initiatives for Allied Health professionals.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with Allied Health staff, leaders, People & Culture teams and external education providers to support effective learning and development.
• Contribute to undergraduate education, new graduate programs and continuing professional development to support Allied Health workforce sustainability.
• Facilitate communication, networking and knowledge sharing across Allied Health services and professional groups throughout CCLHD.
• Respond to emerging educational needs while balancing competing priorities and ensuring programs remain contemporary, evidence-based and aligned with organisational strategies, policies and professional standards.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and collaborative Allied Health Educator who is passionate about education, professional development and building workforce capability across a diverse healthcare environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Demonstrated experience designing, delivering and evaluating Allied Health education programs that meet the needs of professionals and align with organisational priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to use educational technologies and contemporary learning approaches to enhance educational outcomes.
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing demands and respond flexibly to emerging educational needs.
• A proactive, resourceful and evidence-based approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement, professional standards and high-quality education.
