Programmed Facility Management is seeking experienced Line Chefs to join our team at a brand-new accommodation village in the Pilbara, supporting our client PLS.

With capacity for up to 200 people, this is an exciting opportunity to join a new operation from the beginning and play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience for residents on site.

This is a permanent full-time position on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth, working 12-hour shifts across both day and night operations.

The Opportunity

As a Line Chef, you will work as part of a high-performing kitchen team preparing and serving meals for a large FIFO workforce. You will be responsible for maintaining quality, consistency and presentation across all meals while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced camp environment.

Your roster will include one week of day shift followed by one week of night shift, providing variety across your swing.

This is a new kitchen and a new team, giving you the opportunity to be part of establishing strong standards, processes and culture from the outset.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard and in line with established menus and recipes
• Working across breakfast, lunch and dinner services in a high-volume camp kitchen
• Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
• Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
• Working collaboratively with Chefs and kitchen staff to deliver meals efficiently
• Supporting the broader kitchen operation as required
• Contributing to a positive team environment and maintaining high standards across the kitchen

About You

We're looking for experienced FIFO Chefs who take pride in producing quality food and understand what it takes to work in a high-volume camp kitchen.

You will be a team player with a strong work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous FIFO camp catering experience (Essential)
• A Chef qualification obtained from an Australian institute
• Experience working in a high-volume commercial kitchen
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A current C Class driver's licence
• Long-term Australian working rights
