Youth Worker

At The Y NSW, our Youth & Community teams are at the heart of creating safe, inclusive spaces where young people can connect, grow, and thrive.

Through programs like Y Spaces, outreach services, and community-based initiatives, we support young people—especially those facing challenges—to build confidence, develop life skills, and feel a true sense of belonging. Our work is grounded in connection, trust, and early intervention, helping young people navigate life’s complexities with the right support around them.

• Build genuine, respectful connections with young people

• Support group programs, drop-in spaces, and community activities

The essentials

• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
• Cert III in Youth Work or similar
• Commitment to safeguarding children and young people
