Internal Communications Lead

In this fixed term position for 12 months as Internal Communications Lead at City of Palmerston, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our people connected, informed, and inspired. You’ll shape and deliver a dynamic Internal Communications Framework, lead creative campaigns, and manage platforms that bring Council’s vision, values, and priorities to life.

Partnering with HR and leaders, you’ll drive change initiatives, sensitive communications, surveys, and engagement programs. From newsletters and digital content to staff events and wellbeing initiatives, your work will strengthen culture, build trust and elevate the employee experience.

You’re a dynamic, creative communicator with qualifications in communications, HR, marketing or engagement, ready to make an impact.

You bring proven experience developing frameworks, campaigns, and tools that turn strategy into action, translating insights into meaningful outcomes.
