We are now seeking an experienced Security Ranger Supervisor to join our team and take a hands-on leadership role in the delivery of security, public safety and customer service operations across metropolitan Sydney.

About the Role

As a Security Ranger Supervisor, you will lead from the front, providing day-to-day direction and support to frontline Rangers while ensuring a professional, proactive and customer-focused security presence.

You will coordinate shift operations, conduct team briefings, respond to incidents and emergencies, maintain high operational standards and support your team in delivering a safe and welcoming environment for visitors and the wider community.

This is a varied, highly visible position suited to an experienced security professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems and being actively involved in frontline operations.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead, support and coordinate frontline Security Rangers during daily operations
• Prepare operational shift briefs and conduct effective pre-shift team briefings
• Allocate and coordinate resources to support operational requirements
• Provide clear direction and leadership during incidents, emergencies and other operational situations
• Promote high standards of professionalism, presentation, customer service and operational performance
• Support team members with day-to-day guidance, coaching and operational matters
• Communicate effectively with management, stakeholders and other operational teams
• Deliver professional customer service and visitor engagement
• Conduct regular vehicle and foot patrols to protect people, property and physical assets
• Monitor public spaces and proactively identify and respond to safety and security risks
• Act as a first responder to incidents and emergencies
• Operate and monitor control room, surveillance and security technology systems
• Manage and monitor access control requirements
• Complete accurate incident reports, security documentation and operational records

About You

You are an experienced security professional who is confident leading people in a dynamic, customer-facing environment.

You will bring:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a security supervisory or similar leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate frontline teams
• Strong operational judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• A strong customer service focus and confidence engaging with members of the public
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and reporting capabilities
• A professional approach and high standard of personal presentation
• Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards
• Confidence using technology and security systems
• Availability to work across a rotating 24/7 roster

Required Certifications

To be considered, you must hold:

• Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
• Unrestricted NSW Driver Licence

Highly Regarded or Willing to Obtain

The following qualifications and certifications will be highly regarded:

• White Card
• Traffic Control and Traffic Management Plan (Implementer) qualifications
• Fire Warden / Chief Warden certification
• SEINS training
• Working With Children Check
