Warehousing Assistant / Forklift Operator

Samos Polymers is an Australian owned and operated company. Our manufacturing facilities are located west of Sydney, in the St Marys area. We produce all forms of raw polyurethane elastomers and foams.

We are looking for an experienced Warehousing Assistant who has a sound knowledge of warehousing and storage procedures.

You will be working Dayshift, Fulltime, Monday to Friday, commencing at 5.00am.

The role of the Warehousing Assistant is, as part of a team, safely and efficiently:

• Book in transport for deliveries.

• Load/unload deliveries.

• Place incoming stock away in correct locations, ensuring rotation of stock.

• Help prepare ingredients for the production team by identifying raw materials in the warehouse and loading correct quantities into drying ovens.

• Pick and pack orders.

• Carry out regular stocktakes.

• Assist production with required Raw Materials.

• General maintenance and cleaning is also required to be carried out around the manufacturing and warehouse facility.

You must be willing to work overtime when required.

Must hold a current forklift licence and be physically fit in order to carry out some manual lifting and cleaning. Experience in the handling of dangerous goods would be a bonus.
