Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Data Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and challenges, maintaining a solution-focused mindset throughout the data migration lifecycle.
   
2. Facilitate the detailed analysis and validation of both source and target systems.
   
3. Engage in detailed mapping workshops, ensuring source-to-target mappings are in line with the Ceridian model for precise data integration.
   
4. Aid in the technical setup and preparation of environments, setting the stage for successful data migration efforts.
   
5. Validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated data through comprehensive testing and reconciliation efforts.
   
6. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for integration, performance, and mock conversions.
   
7. Oversee Dress Rehearsal activities, ensuring a thorough validation process.
   
8. Assist with establishment and implementation of data quality standards based on initial data profiling and insights from SMEs.
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Demonstrated expertise in data migration projects, with a preference for experience in HR systems (like Ceridian Dayforce or similar)
   
2. Mastery of data migration methodologies, including proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data mapping.
   
3. A solid foundation in data quality management, cleansing, and reconciliation.
   
4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities, paired with strong stakeholder management skills.
   
5. Desirable: NSW Government experience is desirable, but not essential. 
   

On offer is a contract until 31/12/2025, at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
