About the business unit
The Gambling, Liquor and Tobacco business unit supports the regulation of gambling, liquor and tobacco in Victoria, to minimise the harms these products can cause and contribute positively to the Victorian economy. It is responsible for:

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager - Gambling Harm Prevention & Response, the Knowledge Translation Project Officer plays a key role in maximising the reach and impact of gambling harm knowledge, including so that this knowledge can effectively inform policy development, program and service delivery. In doing so, the Knowledge Translation Project Officer will work collaboratively with colleagues across the unit and across government via the Gambling Harm Prevention and Response Model.
Drawing on their own sound knowledge of the available evidence, as well as new and emerging trends, the Knowledge Translation Project Officer will also play a key role in providing evidence-based advice through correspondence, reports, submissions, briefings, discussion papers and other documents.
