8:00/9:00am – 5:00/6:00pm+ Additional Evening & Weekend Hours Will increase to Full-Time by February 2027 (potentially sooner)

A warm and welcoming family based in St Leonards is seeking an experienced, nurturing, mature and reliable Nanny to care for their beautiful 5-month-old baby. This role is ideal for a professional Nanny who enjoys supporting young families during the early stages of their child's development. Initially commencing one day per week, there will be opportunities for additional evening and weekend work, with the role increasing into a full-time position by February 2027, potentially sooner for the right candidate.

The family is looking for someone who is confident and experienced in caring for infants, enjoys creating engaging age-appropriate activities, and values building a long-term relationship with their family.

Key Responsibilities;

• Providing attentive and nurturing care for a 5-month-old baby.
• Supporting feeding, settling, sleep routines and developmental milestones.
• Planning age-appropriate play and sensory activities.
• Preparing bottles and assisting with the introduction of solids when appropriate.
• General nursery duties, including maintaining a clean and organised nursery, children's laundry and keeping baby items well stocked.
• Maintaining open communication with parents regarding routines and development.
• Occasional evening and weekend care as required.

Candidate Requirements;

• Previous experience caring for infants in a professional Nanny role.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Current Clear Police Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current driver's licence.
• Warm, caring, reliable and proactive nature.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents.
• Seeking a long-term position with a growing family.
• Comfortable working in a home with four friendly cats.

Pay: $40.00 – $49.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week
