Population Health Division is responsible for addressing primary and secondary disease prevention within the local community through Health Promotion, HIV and Related Programs Multicultural Health. Our work is delivered through individual service delivery. Population health promotes programs and initiates capacity building to members of priority populations on priority issues.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join the Centre for Population Health as the Manager, BBV and Sexual Health Promotion. This role is responsible for leading the strategic and operational delivery of programs that address sexual health and blood borne viruses, including HIV, STIs, and hepatitis B and C, across the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
Leading the BBV and Sexual Health Promotion and Needle and Syringe Program teams, you will drive the development, implementation and evaluation of evidence-informed population health initiatives, provide strategic advice to key stakeholders, and build strong partnerships with health, community and government organisations. You will play a key role in promoting harm minimisation, reducing stigma and discrimination, and improving health outcomes for our communities while ensuring programs are delivered within budget and achieve performance targets.
The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and program management skills, along with a passion for population health and improving community wellbeing through innovative and collaborative approaches.
