About the role
As a Dietitian at Nuevo Medical, you will work as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary medical team, collaborating directly with General Practitioners, Cardiologists, Specialists, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
A key feature of this role is the opportunity to work closely with the doctors involved in each patient's care. Rather than operating as a standalone Allied Health service, the Dietitian will form part of coordinated clinical pathways where patients can move between General Practice, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine and Allied Health within the same centre.
You will assess, educate and support patients across a broad range of nutritional and health needs. Your caseload may include cardiovascular disease and cardiovascular risk reduction, weight management and body composition, Type 2 diabetes and metabolic health, insulin resistance and pre-diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol management, gastrointestinal conditions, chronic disease management, healthy ageing, sports and performance nutrition, pre- and post-operative nutrition, nutritional optimisation, behaviour change, long-term lifestyle management and preventative health.
There will be a particular opportunity to work with patients referred directly from Nuevo's GPs and Cardiologists, contributing nutrition expertise as part of broader medical, exercise and lifestyle interventions.

Relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
Eligibility for appropriate professional accreditation with Dietitians Australia
Appropriate professional insurance
Strong clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence communicating and collaborating with medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals
A strong focus on achieving meaningful and sustainable patient outcomes
A practical approach to nutrition, patient education and behaviour change
Strong interpersonal and motivational skills
Ability to work independently while embracing a highly collaborative clinical environment
Experience or a strong interest in cardiovascular health, metabolic health, diabetes, chronic disease, weight management or preventative healthcare would be particularly well suited to the Nuevo model.
Work within a genuinely integrated multidisciplinary medical centre, rather than an isolated Allied Health practice
Direct collaboration with GPs, Cardiologists and Specialists involved in your patients' care
Strong internal referral pathways across General Practice, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine and Allied Health
Access to patients across multiple clinical services and structured health programs
The opportunity to participate in coordinated patient pathways from medical assessment through nutrition, exercise and ongoing management
A purpose-built, premium healthcare environment
A diverse and growing clinical caseload
Structured professional development and mentorship
Opportunities for career progression as Nuevo Medical grows
The opportunity to help develop new clinical programs and multidisciplinary pathways
A supportive and collaborative team environment
Competitive remuneration
Nuevo Medical is building a multidisciplinary model of healthcare designed around coordinated patient journeys, prevention, early intervention, rehabilitation and long-term health.
Our Bundall centre brings together General Practice, Cardiology, Specialist Medicine, Allied Health and diagnostic services within one healthcare environment.
The model is deliberately multidisciplinary. GPs and Specialists work directly with Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Physiotherapists and other clinicians to create coordinated patient pathways rather than referring patients into disconnected services.
For the Dietitian joining Nuevo, this means the opportunity to work alongside the doctors managing the patient's underlying medical condition, contribute directly to their broader care plan and help make nutrition a genuine component of medical care.
Nuevo is not simply a collection of practitioners operating under one roof. Our aim is to create an environment where clinicians work together around the same patient and where the next step in a patient's care can be coordinated within the one centre.
