Sous Chef & Chefs all level

Mansae Burwood is currently seeking an experienced Sous chef and Chef all level and apprentices to join our growing team. This role is offered on a full time basis.

Key Responsibility of the role include:

• Providing exceptional food for service

• Directing food preparation and collaborating with the Head Chef

• Overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals

• Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in all food storage and preparation areas

• Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.

• Responsible to supervise junior chefs or cooks.

• Ability to handle fast paced heavy service
   

What we are looking for:

• Experience in a premium venue

• Strong knife skills and experience in Korean Cuisine is desire

• Min 2 years relevant experience

• A desire to learn and grow

• Hold a trade qualification

• Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards

• Prepared to work flexible hours including weekends, late nights across a 7 day roster
