About Us
Broome Regional Aboriginal Medical Service (BRAMS) is a well-established Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation that has been supporting the Broome community for over 40 years. Headquartered in Broome, Western Australia, BRAMS provides holistic, culturally safe primary healthcare, aged care, and community programs to Aboriginal people throughout the Kimberley region.
With a strong focus on person-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, BRAMS delivers services designed around the needs of Aboriginal individuals and families. Our multidisciplinary teams work collaboratively to improve health outcomes and promote wellbeing across the lifespan.

About the Role
BRAMS is recruiting a full-time Safe at Home Team Leader to lead our Safe at Home family and domestic violence team in Broome, WA. Reporting to the Community Wellbeing Programs Manager, this is a specialist practice leadership role that combines advanced family violence case work with day-to-day operational management of Family and Domestic Violence Case Workers delivering the Safe at Home program to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their children.
You will provide supervision, secondary consultation and mentoring to Case Workers, hold a caseload of higher-risk and complex matters, lead intake coordination, and ensure the team meets program, funding, data and reporting requirements. This is a role for someone who is both an expert practitioner and a confident, supportive leader someone who can hold complexity, model best practice, and bring out the best in their team.
All practice is delivered within the WA Family and Domestic Violence Common Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework (CRARMF), and in alignment with BRAMS’ Model of Care, Consumer Voice Framework and Quality Care Framework.
