Battery Sales and Service

About the role

This is a hands-on customer service role involving battery sales, installations and roadside assistance. No previous battery or automotive experience is required. Training will be provided to the right applicant.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with battery enquiries and sales

• Test, replace and install automotive batteries

• Provide roadside battery assistance and jump-start services

• Diagnose common battery and charging-system issues

• Deliver batteries to customers and local businesses

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment

• Process customer payments and complete basic job paperwork

• Participate in the 24-hour roadside assistance roster, including some after-hours and weekend call-outs

• Provide friendly and professional customer service

About you

• Reliable, punctual and willing to learn

• Confident dealing with customers

• Comfortable undertaking practical, hands-on work

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Available to participate in an after-hours roster

• Hold a current Australian driver's licence

• Physically capable of safely lifting and handling batteries

• Automotive or retail experience is helpful but not essential
