About the role
Link-Force Au is seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Officer to join their client's growing team, working across Sydney and Adelaide operations. The client is a leading steel manufacturing and engineered solutions company supporting major construction and infrastructure projects across Australia. This role will help maintain strong safety standards across manufacturing, operational and project environments.
Key responsibilities
Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of workplace health and safety systems
Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments
Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
Maintain safety documentation, registers and compliance records
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and employee training
Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures and client requirements
Work closely with management, manufacturing teams and site personnel
Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across the business
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the Sydney and Adelaide operations
About you
Previous experience in a Health and Safety Officer, WHS Advisor or similar position
Manufacturing experience is preferred
Relevant WHS qualification
Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and safety management systems
Experience conducting risk assessments, audits and incident investigations
Confident communicating with employees, supervisors and senior management
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and across multiple operational locations
Full Australian working rights
Benefits
Salary of $110,000–$130,000 plus super
Permanent position working across Sydney and Adelaide
