About the role
We're looking for a paediatric speech pathologist who loves working with kids and wants a caseload full of the moments that actually matter.
This is the work that sticks with you. You'll support children from 0 to 18 across our Wollongong clinic, in their schools and in their homes, helping them find the words, be understood, and connect with the people around them. You'll run your sessions, set real goals with families, and get the best part of this job: the day a child says the thing they've been trying to say for months, and you watch their parent's face when they finally hear it.
Full-time or part-time from three days a week, built around your life, not squeezed into it.
What your week looks like
You'll manage your own caseload of NDIS and privately funded paediatric clients: initial and functional assessments, standardised tools, goal setting, 60-minute therapy sessions, and reports. You'll work inside a genuine multidisciplinary team alongside OTs, psychologists and behaviour support practitioners, so you're never the only clinician thinking about a kid. And you'll liaise with families, teachers, support coordinators, paediatricians and GPs to keep every child moving forward.
If you're more experienced, there's scope to mentor and supervise junior SPs and assistants. If you're earlier in your career, you'll be the one getting that support.
Why you'll love it here
What we're after
Why people stay
Ask the team and they'll tell you the same thing. It doesn't really feel like work. The kids know you, the families trust you, and the people beside you feel more like family than colleagues. You're supported, you're supervised, you've got room to grow, and you spend your days on work that genuinely means something. If you've been after a paeds speech role where you're backed, challenged and actually happy to show up, this is it.
Interested? Reach out to Abdul at abdul@yieldplacement.com and I'll tell you more about the role, the team and the kids you'd be working with.
Pay: $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
