Join a growing battery recycling operation and play a key role in a continuous 24/7 processing environment. Working as part of a small shift team, you'll operate and monitor plant equipment, support start-up and shutdown activities, conduct routine inspections, and help maintain safe and efficient operations.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in chemical, metallurgical, manufacturing, or industrial processing environments who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and contributing to the performance of a modern processing plant. You'll work closely with maintenance, laboratory, and technical teams while following established safety and operating procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring process equipment including shredders, pumps, solvent extraction, and crystallisation systems.
• Conducting routine inspections and reporting equipment faults or safety concerns.
• Recording operational data and completing shift handovers.
• Assisting with plant start-ups, shutdowns, and process transitions.
• Working closely with maintenance, laboratory, and technical teams to support safe and efficient plant performance.
• This position operates on a rotating 4-on / 4-off roster, working 12-hour day and night shifts within a 24/7 operation

We're looking for a safety-focused and reliable operator with experience in a manufacturing, processing, chemical, mining, or industrial plant environment. You'll be comfortable operating industrial equipment, following procedures, identifying operational issues, and working effectively as part of a team.

To be successful, you'll bring:

• Previous experience as a Plant Operator within a processing, manufacturing, chemical, metallurgical, or industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• A hands-on approach with solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
