Academic Coordinator (Chemistry)

We currently have the exciting opportunity for an Academic Coordinator (Chemistry) to join the team on a sessional basis for Semester 3. This opportunity is currently open to UTS College staff only.

About the role

The Academic Coordinator contributes to the assurance of high quality UTS College subject curriculum and delivery and student learning outcomes in the Science & Engineering programs during semester, by ensuring that all curriculum materials exemplify our integrated model of learning and innovative teaching and learning practices; demonstrating leadership in teaching while guiding, coaching and supervising other stream/subject teachers, and ensuring students have early access to any and all additional support services they may benefit from.

This position will hold a range of responsibilities during the academic semester, including:

• Curriculum development
• Academic administration and semester preparation
• Teaching
• Student support
• Assessment and moderation
• Leadership
• Ongoing scholarship and development
• Contributing to UTS College initiatives, events and culture
