About the role
Are you an experienced tax accountant looking to join a supportive, down-to-earth team where your ideas are valued and clients truly matter?
We’re a small, proactive accounting firm that prides itself on delivering exceptional service without the stuffiness. Our team is professional, friendly and flexible—and now we’re looking for someone who can jump right in, take ownership, and grow with us.
You’ll be working directly with clients and our internal team, preparing tax returns and supporting our business advisory services. You must be able to work confidently and autonomously from day one.
We’re after the right person, not just a resume.
Essential:
Minimum 4 years tax accounting experience in public practice
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or extensive industry experience in lieu)
Strong practical knowledge of accounting and taxation principles
Confident using MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Clear communication, both with team and clients
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Highly Regarded:
A positive, solution-focused mindset
Someone who enjoys client interaction and wants to grow their advisory skills
