As a member of the housekeeping team at Jemalong Retirement Village, you will be providing high quality cleaning, catering & laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents rooms and common areas are clean and presentable.

About The Role

Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents roomsSupporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spiritWorking in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyStrong communication skills and a positive attitudePrevious experience working as a cleaner or catering assistantWarm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of peopleAbility to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families A reliable team playerAbility to read, write and communicate effectivelyWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
