Site Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Site Manager to join us to be accountable for the day-to-day management of construction sites to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to Perfect Practice quality standards. The Site Manager provides on-site leadership, coordination and control of subcontractors, suppliers and site activities, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved documentation, programme and WHS requirements. Working closely with the Head of Project Delivery, Project Managers and delivery teams, the Site Manager plays a critical role in achieving successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project programme
• Ensure all site activities comply with WHS legislation, site safety plans and Perfect Practice safety standards
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and trades to ensure quality workmanship and productivity
• Ensure works are constructed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and contractual requirements
• Monitor site progress and proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact programme, quality or cost
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional site environment at all times
• Conduct regular site meetings, toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Liaise closely with Project Managers, design teams and consultants to resolve site-based issues and RFIs
• Manage site inspections, quality checks and defect rectification
• Ensure accurate site records are maintained, including daily diaries, safety documentation and progress reporting

About you

• Experience as a construction Site Manager
• Experience in commercial or healthcare projects (preferred)
• Ability to build strong relationships with trades and on-site stakeholders
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator and team collaborator
• Proactive and solutions-focused mindset
