About the Role
This role acts as the designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Polyclip systems, responsible for driving technical excellence, standardisation, and reliability in the servicing and support of Polyclip equipment within the food processing and packaging industry. You will operate as the technical authority and primary interface with the Polyclip OEM, with ownership of standards, contractor performance, and technical capability across the Australian service network.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the SME for all Polyclip equipment across the service network.
Support advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and resolution of complex issues.
Provide technical input for complex or high-risk issues.
Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and technical support across food processing and packaging equipment, with a primary focus on Polyclip systems.
Support installation and commissioning of Polyclip equipment at customer sites.
Act as the primary point of contact with the Polyclip OEM.
Provide technical guidance to third-party contractors working on Polyclip equipment (Polyclip Only).
Support the development and delivery of structured training programs for technicians and contractors
Identify skill gaps and contribute to targeted upskilling initiatives
Qualification & Skills :
Hold Electrical Licence and Drivers Licence.
5+ years’ experience working autonomously as a Field Service Technician/Engineer across various sites.
Preferred experience in working with food production equipment and/or similar – e.g. process and packaging, weighing, slicing or liquid filling equipment.
Strong technical fault-finding and problem-solving capability.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work within structured systems and defined processes.
