About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join LHG in this newly created role, providing leadership and coordination across our Victorian sites in Hamilton, Horsham and Mildura. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on facilities professional to lead an established team while ensuring our sites remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and welcoming for residents, staff and visitors.
This role offers a blend of coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational delivery, with the role being hands-on and field-based, supporting maintenance activities, site inspections and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate maintenance, grounds and facilities operations across LHG's Victorian sites.Ensure compliance with WHS, legislative and preventative maintenance requirements.Act as the primary point of contact for facilities and maintenance matters across Victoria.Support and oversee capital works and Individual living unit refurbishment projects.Coordinate contractors, suppliers and work orders to ensure services are delivered safely on time and within budget.Manage preventative, reactive and grounds maintenance programs to maintain high site standards.Partner with Site General Managers to align facilities priorities with operational needs.Maintain accurate records, reporting, purchase orders and maintenance system updates.Deliver exceptional customer service and communication to residents, staff and stakeholders.
What You Will Need
Strong stakeholder engagement is essential, working collaboratively with residents, site leaders and operational teams.Trade qualifications and/or equivalent experience in facilities, maintenance or property management preferredExperience within Facilities Management, Aged Care, Retirement Living or Hospitality industries - preferredExperience coordinating maintenance, grounds or capital works activities across multiple sitesDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and coordinate works across a geographically dispersed portfolioNational Police Clearance and Driver’s license
This role involves overnight travel across the region, with accommodation provided as required.
Access to a pool vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment. In line with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are strongly encouraged to be up to date with all recommended vaccinations.
