Cabinet Maker

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our growing team. This full-time role focuses on the manufacture and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. You'll work across kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and fit-outs, delivering precision craftsmanship from workshop production through to onsite installation.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and job specifications for cabinetry projects

• Manufacture custom cabinets and joinery using a range of materials including solid timber, veneers, laminates, and engineered boards

• Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including CNC equipment, to cut and shape components accurately

• Assemble cabinetry components and complete high-quality finished products

• Install cabinetry onsite, including kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and commercial fit-outs

• Fit and adjust hardware such as hinges, drawer runners, handles, and internal fittings

• Apply finishes and protective coatings to ensure durability and a professional appearance

• Ensure all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and required timelines

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in both workshop and onsite settings

About you

• At least one year of full-time experience in cabinet making, joinery, or a related field

• Proven experience in manufacturing and installing custom cabinetry

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans

• Experience using woodworking tools, machinery, and CNC equipment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

• White Card (or willingness to obtain) preferred
