Are you who I’m looking for?
Hi! I’m Eamon, I’m 30 years old. I enjoy hanging out with family, exploring the outdoors on my tandem bike and with my dog, hosting gatherings, swimming, and sailing! I love listening to the birds, I play wheelchair football, and like to be involved in my local community.
I am passionate about teaching others and like to take on work opportunities that allow me to share my story. I am a loving son, brother, and uncle. I am also a caring friend and an adrenaline junkie!!
Right now, I’m looking for new people join my team to work with me in my own home and share adventures with.
I’m looking for people who can show me they are:
Wonderful team players
Fun, friendly and sociable
Curious with an eye for detail
Interested in learning new skills and having new experiences
Good with organisational and planning skills
Able to think outside of the box to solve problems
A firm believer that all people have rights to belong as equal members of the community
It will be essential that you are willing to go sailing, take me swimming in a hydrotherapy pool and be willing to learn to ride my bike with me.
I can offer you:
Beginning as a casual with set shifts, the option to become Permanent Part time through my Shared Management with My Place
Investment in developing your skills and understanding of my needs
A team facilitator and family who will guide you as you learn and provide space for reflection
A safe and friendly work environment in which you can utilise your skills and share your interests with me
Details:
Located in Willagee – Must live within a 30-minute distance
You will need to have:
NDIS worker screening before commencement (we can guide you on how to obtain)
- Unrestricted driver’s license
- Senior first aid certificate within the first 2 months of employment
- Covid vaccination/booster and current flu vaccination
We will train you in the tasks we require, so don’t worry if you don’t have previous experience.
