Maintenance Fitter

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our manufacturing plant in Preprint at Coolaroo. You will be part of our reliability team, supporting production and our industrial customers.

Rotating shift: One week day shift/One week afternoon shift8h shift (Monday to Friday. some Saturday required)

The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Be reactive to breakdowns minimising downtime.Carry out routine checks and planned preventative maintenance to maintain productivity of machines.Maintain stock levels of spare parts to assist in making components for repairs.Update and maintain data records on works carried out.Participate in safety training and promote a safe work environment

What You Will Bring To The Team

Hold a Mechanical Trade certificate and post trade qualifications in hydraulics and pneumatics would be desirable.Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting industrial equipment.Strong understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturingHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
