Casual Landscaping Trades Assistant

We are a busy residential landscaping business based in the Northern Suburbs seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaping Trades Assistant to join our small team.

This is a casual position offering approximately 3–5 days per week, working across residential projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area, predominately north of the river.

The role

You will work alongside experienced landscapers and be assisting with:

• Paving and paving preparation

• Site preparation and general groundworks

• Limestone and retaining works

• Drainage and soakwell installation

• Turf and general landscape installation

• Loading, unloading and moving materials

• Safe use of basic hand and power tools as directed

• Site clean-up and general labouring

• Other general landscape duties as required

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic

• Is physically fit and comfortable performing manual outdoor work

• Can follow instructions and work well within a small team

• Takes pride in their work and has good attention to detail

• Has a current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Holds a current White Card

• Is available approximately 3–5 days per week

Previous landscaping, construction, paving or labouring experience is advantageous but not essential. We are primarily looking for the right person who is dependable, willing to learn and genuinely wants to work.

Experience using landscaping tools or small plant/equipment will also be highly regarded.

Hours: Approximately 3–5 days per week
Location: Various residential job sites across the Perth metropolitan area
Remuneration: Hourly rate based on experience with opportunities for progression
