Garden Spec is seeking an experienced Landscape Gardener to join our growing team.

We provide professional garden and lawn maintenance services across residential and commercial properties throughout Perth.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently when required, and has solid hands-on experience in professional garden maintenance.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position carrying out a range of garden and lawn maintenance services, including:

• General garden maintenance
• Lawn mowing using rotary and cylinder mowers
• Edging and whipper snipping
• Hedging and pruning
• Plant and shrub maintenance
• Weeding and weed control
• Mulching and soil improvement
• Planting
• Garden clean-ups
• Green waste removal
• Basic reticulation checks and repairs
• Safe operation and maintenance of garden machinery and equipment
• Loading, towing and reversing trailers
• Maintaining a high standard of presentation at clients' properties

About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience in professional gardening or landscape maintenance.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Previous experience in garden and lawn maintenance
• Good knowledge of plants, lawns, pruning and general garden care
• Experience operating commercial garden equipment
• Experience using hedge trimmers, chainsaws, whipper snippers and lawn mowers
• Confidence towing and reversing trailers
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Good time management and attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Professional presentation when dealing with clients
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work

Essential Requirements

• Full WA Driver's Licence
• White Card
• Proven garden or landscape maintenance experience
• Provide contactable references within the Landscaping / Garden Maintenance Industry
• Ability to safely operate garden machinery and equipment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Reliable transport to and from work
