Fencing Installer Assistant / Offsider – Immediate Start

About the role

BV Fencing Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Fencing Installer Assistant / Offsider to join our dynamic team in Perth, WA. This is a casual position with immediate start availability. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who is keen to learn, reliable, hard-working and wants to build a career in the fencing industry.

You will be working on-site at various locations throughout Perth, supporting our experienced fencing installers in delivering quality fencing solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting experienced fencing installers with the installation of residential and commercial fencing projects

• Preparing work sites by clearing debris, measuring areas and setting out materials

• Digging post holes, setting posts and ensuring proper alignment and levelling

• Assisting with the assembly, cutting and fitting of fencing panels, palings and components

• Operating hand tools and basic power tools under supervision

• Loading and unloading materials and equipment from vehicles

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards

• Communicating effectively with the installation team and following instructions

• Assisting with general site tidying and cleanup at the end of each project

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting heavy materials

• Willingness to learn and develop skills in fencing installation techniques

• Reliability and commitment to attending scheduled work days

• A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Basic hand tool knowledge and comfort using power tools (or willingness to be trained)

• Current Australian driver's licence is advantageous

• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and work at heights if necessary

• Previous experience in construction, landscaping or fencing is desirable but not essential for the right candidate
