Momo Chicken is looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join our team.

Momo Chicken is a well-established Korean fried chicken restaurant brand, serving Korean-style fried chicken and a variety of popular Korean dishes. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.

About the Role

As a Chef at Momo Chicken, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent food quality and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to Momo Chicken recipes and standards
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes
• Complete daily food preparation and mise en place
• Manage stock rotation, food storage and labelling
• Monitor food quality and minimise wastage
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen
• Follow food safety, hygiene and temperature-control procedures
• Assist with ordering and stock management
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Support and train junior kitchen staff
• Work closely with the kitchen and management team

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen
• Korean cuisine experience is highly regarded but not essential
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, responsible and punctual
• Available to work a flexible roster, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to maintain consistency and follow established recipes and procedures
