Exercise Physiologist - Part-time/Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Kogarah Physiotherapy & Sports Clinic. This is a part-time or full-time role offering diverse experience with a varied caseload.

As one of the longest-standing clinics in Kogarah, we work closely with GPs, Orthopaedic Surgeons, and Sports Specialists.

Our clinic features a fully equipped rehabilitation gym located in The White Church opposite St George Public Hospital. Facilities include a cable machine, free weights, smith machine, functional training equipment, VALD force plates, force frame dynamometry and digital movement analysis technology, allowing you to complete objective rehabilitation and performance testing.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualised exercise programs for clients

2. Delivering evidence-based exercise interventions to improve the health and wellbeing of clients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions

3. Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to provide holistic, patient-centred care

4. Educating clients on the benefits of exercise and its role in managing their condition

5. Continuously monitoring and evaluating client progress to ensure optimal outcomes

6. Maintaining accurate client records and reporting

What we’re looking for

• ESSA-accredited Exercise Physiologist

• Genuine interest in helping clients with a range of musculoskeletal and rehabilitation needs

• Friendly communicator who enjoys working with people of all ages

• A willingness to learn, ask questions and grow clinically

• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development

• Openness to working with various referral types, including Worker’s Compensation, motor accidents, athletics and GP management plans
