Senior Auditor - Audit & Assurance – Sydney/Hybrid - Mid-Tier Accounting Firm

Our client, a leading mid-tier accounting and advisory firm in Sydney, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join their Audit & Assurance team. The firm works with a diverse client base including large corporates, privately owned businesses and high-net-worth individuals, offering a collaborative environment and strong career development opportunities. 

The Role: 

• Manage multiple engagements, plan and execute audits and act as a key point of contact for clients 

• Supervising and completing audit assignments to a high standard 

• Planning audits, identifying and assessing risks and applying effective audit procedures 

• Reviewing and finalising audit work and reporting 

• Acting as a client liaison to build and maintain strong professional relationships 

• Supporting team performance and mentoring junior staff 

About You: 

• Minimum 3 years’ external audit experience in a public practice environment 

• CA or near-complete CA qualification (preferred) 

• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, Corporations Act and corporate reporting requirements 

• Experience using audit software (Caseware preferred) and MS Office applications 

• Excellent communication, time management and client relationship skills
