Activate Health is looking for our next amazing team member! With two full-time position's available as part of a new graduate program. Position's available in both our Rockhampton and Yeppoon practices.

• Benefit from the experience of our team members with over 30 years of accumulated clinical experience, and specialisations in Exercise and Oncology, mental health, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. 

Gain experience working in a Multidisciplinary team: 

• Gain valuable experience only gained by working closely with other Allied Health Disciplines, in a unified team working towards best practice in patient centered care. Activate Health currently has a team of experienced, Occupational Therapist (Hand specialisation) therapy assistants, Health facilitators, and Diabetes education.

Be guided with continual support, mentorship, and ongoing professional growth:

• Activate Health has an in-depth New Graduate Preceptorship Program comprising of time shadowing experienced team members over all our service types and client conditions, along with report writing training and guidance for all report types, until you are competent and confident, 

• Extended appointment times and report times allocated to ensure you are able to learn and gain competence with reduced stress.  

•  A dedicated Senior AEP mentor for your first year; with weekly 1 on 1 face to face mentoring, 

• Quality reporting templates and systems, and full report writing training and guidance. 

• A gradual introduction to higher skilled services, and further in house training opportunities such as Kids Heart Pilates, lungs in action, PD Warrior, Activate Kindy Uplift, and My Health for life (training opportunities expanding all the time),

• 3-6 and 12 monthly evaluations, with career mentoring and coaching. Yearly renumeration increases with successful evaluations. 

• Participate in fortnightly Health practitioner case conference meetings including in-house AEP/ Physio/ OT presentations, group case studies, guest speakers, and client brain-storming sessions. 

Have the tools to progress as a Health Professional: 

• Be spoilt with a professional team of administrators to handle all administration tasks, and streamline your day. Along with quality processers, procedures, and referral systems in place.

• Practice confidently within our purpose-built Exercise Physiology practices complete with professional consult rooms, fully equipped exercise therapy gyms, and specialised service specific equipment. 

• Superiorly fitted out Exercise therapy consult offices and private gymnasiums for best practice interventions,

• A full suite of equipment needed for easy and professional practice including work site cars for out of practice appointments, quality computers and tablets, medical software. 

Gain experience in and enjoy a variety of clientele and services:

• Gain experience in a variety of services and perform clinical prescription for a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, chronic diseases, and disabilities.

• Become confident in clinical prescription modes including in gym, at home, hydrotherapy, Paediatrics, special population group exercise, and exercise for disabilities. 

• Our services include but are not limited to NDIS, Work Cover return to work physical conditioning, Work readiness for special needs ,Chronic disease management referrals, home care packages, type 2 Diabetes groups referrals, Private clients, DVA programs, and Health promotion programs.

• Special population classes within our practices including seniors, Parkinson’s, Cancer patients and survivors, hydrotherapy, low mobility, type 2 Diabetes, NDIS, Paediatric of all ages, kindergarten and holiday programs, and young athlete’s.
