ABOUT LOWTHER HALL
Lowther Hall is an inclusive school for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12, committed to excellence for all. Situated in Essendon, it is the only Anglican independent school for girls in the area. The School has an enrolment of 900, a size which enables each girl to be known as an individual. Lowther Hall is a learning community in which staff and students work together to achieve the shared goal of educating the whole girl for the whole of life.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an onsite, fixed term, part time 0.6FTE position commencing 20 January 2027 and concluding 9 December 2027.
The Senior School Science Teacher (Years 7 - 10) role involves delivering engaging, evidence-informed teaching and learning within a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment. The role encompasses curriculum planning, assessment and differentiation, supporting student wellbeing and pastoral care, and building positive relationships with students, colleagues and families. The position also contributes to the broader life of the School through professional learning, Home Group, cocurricular activities and school events, while supporting the wellbeing, safety and diverse needs of all students.
