Greenway Dental offers stress-free treatments in a safe, relaxing environment, using contemporary techniques and equipment to ensure a positive experience for every patient.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant/Receptionist role based at our Greenway clinic. The position involves supporting the dental team chairside, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with dental procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities also include greeting patients, managing appointments, answering phone and email inquiries, processing payments, and handling patient records and documentation. The Dental Assistant/Receptionist will help ensure efficient patient flow, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and provide friendly, professional service to all patients.Qualifications Chairside assisting skills, including preparing treatment rooms, managing instruments, and supporting a range of dental procedures.Administrative and reception skills, such as appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and accurate record management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact calmly and respectfully with patients and team members.Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain cleanliness, adhere to infection control protocols, and follow practice procedures.Comfort working with dental software and basic computer applications for booking, billing, and patient documentation.Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, take initiative, and adapt to changing clinical and reception needs.Previous experience in dental assisting or reception in a healthcare setting is highly beneficial; a relevant dental assisting qualification or certification is an advantage.Commitment to patient-centered care, reliability in attendance and punctuality, and willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
