Trades Assistant

Chelgrave Contracting is currently looking for trades assistants with excellent mechanical aptitude, forklift licence and a can-do attitude.

About the role:

• Working with trades/engineers to assist as directed
• Be proactive and anticipate trades requirements
• Some manual lifting involved, mechanical lifting aids provided  

• Good mechanical/common-sense approach
• Experience in manufacturing an advantage
• Confined Space and Working at Heights nice to have but not essential
• Forklift, Scaffolding, and Rigging Licence highly desirable
• Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to communicate effectively with good reporting skills
• Excellent safety focus with a solid understanding of safe work practices
