About the role
We are offering an exciting opportunity for Family Counsellors to join our team on either a full-time or part-time basis, with part-time work available across 3 days per week.
The Role
As a Counsellor, you will provide therapeutic counselling to children, young people and adults across a diverse range of presentations and individual needs.
You will work with clients experiencing a range of complex and often sensitive issues, including relationship challenges, communication difficulties, parenting matters before and after separation, and grief and loss. You will use your counselling skills to support clients to develop greater insight, resilience and practical strategies for positive change.
The role includes delivering individual counselling sessions as well as facilitating group programs. You will also undertake essential administrative and clinical responsibilities, including maintaining accurate clinical records, preparing relevant reports, completing data entry and other associated tasks.
