About the role
City of Coffs Harbour is seeking an experienced water industry professional to join our team as Coordinator Water Operations.
This is a key operational leadership role responsible for leading our Water Operations team and coordinating the maintenance and operation of the City's water network, including reservoirs, pump stations and water mains, helping ensure reliable water services for our community.

What you'll be doing
Lead and support Water Operations staff and supervisors.
Coordinate maintenance and operational activities across the water network.
Plan resources, prioritise work and manage contractors.
Monitor and operate water infrastructure using SCADA and telemetry systems.
Drive safe, efficient and reliable service delivery.
Participate in an on-call roster and respond to after-hours operational and emergency situations when required.
About you
You'll bring:
Significant experience in the water industry.
Experience leading crews, supervisors or operational teams.
Strong knowledge of water network operations and maintenance.
The ability to plan work, manage resources and solve problems.
A strong commitment to safety and developing others
Essential requirements
Certificate IV in Water Operations (or equivalent).
Current Class C Driver Licence.
White Card.
Confined Space Entry.
Work Safely at Heights certification.
What's on offer?
Competitive salary of around $90K - 100K, depending on your capabilities and experience + allowances + 12% superannuation
Take-home vehicle option
Permanent Full Time 38 hours per week
