CNC MACHINIST

About the role

You'll be running modern, well-maintained CNC lathes and mills — including our DNT 2600M, DNT 2100 CNC lathes, 2 x DNM 6700 machining centers — on Fanuc control. The machines are new, the tooling is looked after, and the shop is set up so you can get on with the job instead of fighting the equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Setting, operating and programming CNC lathes and mills

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Machining a wide variety of materials to produce high-quality components

• Holding tight tolerances while keeping an eye on cycle times and efficiency

• Carrying out in-process and final inspections against strict specifications

• Working with the workshop team to hit production deadlines

• Having input on setups, workholding and process improvements

About you

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent hands-on experience

• Confidence reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Experience on Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls, or similar

• Mastercam experience (preferred, not essential)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

• High attention to detail and genuine pride in your workmanship

• A team-first attitude

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment lung and hearing test

• Right to work in Australia
