Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician

FleetCrew is expanding, and we’re looking for a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our Townsville workshop team.

FleetCrew provides specialist 4WD and commercial vehicles to customers across a number of industries including mining, construction, and leisure industries. This role offers varied, hands-on mechanical work across a large fleet, supported by an experienced and close-knit workshop team.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable and ready for our customers.

• Servicing and repairing predominantly Toyota 4WDs and commercial vehicles

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults

• Completing inspections and preventative maintenance

• Preparing vehicles for hire and return to service

• Maintaining accurate service and repair records

• Helping maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop

• Supporting the wider workshop team when required

• A qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

• A current unrestricted manual driver’s licence

• A reliable, punctual and practical approach

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and pride in your workmanship

• A strong commitment to workplace safety

• Work with a modern fleet of predominantly Toyota vehicles
