Join our upcoming mining shutdown as a Rope Access NDT, with competitive rates and future ADHOC opportunities following the project.
Rio Tinto shutdown 09/09 - 19/09/2026
Rates ranging from: Level 1 – NDT: $68.21, Level 2 – NDT: $74.24, Level 3 - NDT: $79.14
FIFO ex-Perth
Casual, adhoc shutdown allocations with shutdown schedule provided to employees 12 weeks prior

About you
You're a safety-minded, team-focused tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and contributing to a strong site culture.
You'll bring:
IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3 certification & Logbook - Mandatory
UTT L1/L2 - Ultrasonic Inspection-Plate Tester or Liquid Penetrant – Mandatory
Working at Heights (within 3 years' validity) - Mandatory
Confined Space Entry (within 3 years' validity) - Mandatory
Fire Training Qualification (within 4 years' validity) – Mandatory
Current Australian Driver’s Licence/Photo ID - Mandatory
Construction White/Blue Card - Mandatory
Rio Tinto Inducted – Highly Desirable
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
Genuine commitment to safety – you follow procedures, wear your PPE properly, and speak up when something doesn't look right
Team player who backs up your crew, communicates well, and helps maintain a positive site culture
