Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician

About the role

Our Fleet management business now requires the need for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our friendly team working from our workshop in Leongatha. Here you will be required to undertake the service and maintenance requirements of all on-site customer fleet vehicles whilst providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• All service and maintenance requirements on the customer’s fleet 
• Ability to work autonomously and provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with fellow colleagues, customers, and drivers
• Document all repairs including parts usage
• Par-take in the on-call roster with regular overtime
• Strong Work and Health Safety commitment

Demonstrated Skills & Experience

• Minimum Cert 3 Mechanical trade certificate/qualification with experience in Heavy Vehicle industry
• Ability to work unsupervised with exceptional organisation skills
• Good diagnostic ability with welding and fabrication experience beneficial
• Current HC drivers licence desirable
• High level of attention to detail and customer focus
• Own tools
