Trainee Dyno Tuning Technician

We are offering an exciting trainee position for someone who wants to grow into a highly skilled Dyno Tuning Technician. No prior tuning experience is required—just the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine love for automotive performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trainee Dyno Tuning Technician, you will:

• Assist in vehicle setup and preparation for dyno testing
• Learn how to operate dyno equipment and tuning software
• Support senior technicians with diagnostics, data logging, and performance analysis
• Develop hands on skills in ECU tuning, mechanical adjustments, and performance optimisation
• Work in a fast paced workshop environment with a strong focus on accuracy and safety.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong IT skills (software, data, troubleshooting)
• Mechanical understanding or background—formal or informal
• A genuine passion for cars, engines, and tuning
• Motivated, reliable, and eager to learn
• Ideally suited to a younger person looking to build a long term career in automotive performance
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
