Administration & Customer Service Officer – Dispatch Clerk | Lytton | $40.94/hr + OT

If you’re organised, comfortable using computers, good with people and like being part of a busy team, this could be a great opportunity.

We are looking for an Administration & Customer Service Officer to join a busy operation in Lytton. This is a hands-on administration role within a commercial meat processing and food distribution warehouse, where you’ll help keep customer orders, paperwork and day-to-day dispatch activities running smoothly.

You do not need to come from the meat industry. Experience in administration, customer service, transport, warehousing, dispatch or a similar environment would be helpful, but we are also interested in people with strong transferable skills and the right attitude.

Important to Know:

This is primarily an office-based administration and customer service role, however, the office supports a fresh-food production operation. From time to time, you will need to go into production or refrigerated/chiller areas to check stock or assist with dispatch-related activities.

The site handles beef, chicken, pork and lamb, so you need to be comfortable working around fresh meat products and entering refrigerated areas when required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Processing orders, invoices and dispatch paperwork.
• Confident using email, Microsoft Office and Excel, with accurate data entry and updating of information in computer systems.
• Entering and checking stock information & Providing updates on orders, stock and deliveries.
• Checking quantities, weights, product details and pricing.
• Answering customer and internal branch enquiries.
• Working with the warehouse, production and transport teams.
• General administration and customer service support.

What We're Looking For

You don't need to tick every box. We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and accurate, communicates well and is comfortable working in a busy environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in administration, customer service, dispatch, invoicing, warehousing or stock control.
• Strong and accurate data-entry skills, with confidence working with numbers, quantities and information.
• Confidence using computer systems, email, Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Good attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and a helpful, professional approach.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and get things done.
• Reliability and a willingness to support the wider team.
