As a Juice Chemist at Wilmar Sugar & Renewables, you'll be part of a close-knit Laboratory team supporting the crushing season and the efficient operation of our mills. This hands-on role suits a self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Initially located at Macknade Mill, Ingham offers a laid-back lifestyle, with stunning island beaches and exciting outdoor adventures right at your doorstep. Whether you're into fishing and boating, hiking, or just chilling by the beach, the Herbert Region has it all waiting for you.

This is a seasonal position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season (June - December), including weekends and overtime

Your Role in Action

• Data Detective: Conduct analysis as required.
• Accuracy in Action: Ensure accuracy of cane payment and related data entry in a timely manner.
• Efficiency Enforcer: Service, adjust and install laboratory equipment and advise of any additional maintenance as required.
• Housekeeping Hero: Maintain excellent housekeeping practices.
• Safety Guardian: Show a strong commitment to safety.

Your Winning Combination

Our ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Laboratory Skills or is willing and able to achieve the competency. Have excellent attention to detail, time management and a high level of computer literacy. Able to work effectively within a team and identifies as a strong communicator.
